About me

Martin Pearse is a solicitor and partner at Follett Stock LLP, a Truro and Exeter based law firm.
He is particularly experienced in property litigation and building disputes, but has a wide range of experience in dispute resolution at all levels and in many forms.
Born and raised in Cornwall, Martin has worked in various businesses around the world: in London, India, Australia, Spain and the USA. Before moving back to the South West he trained and practised for a number of years at London firm Freshfields (Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer).
ADR credentials
Martin served a 6-month secondment with the City Disputes Panel.
The CDP creates and supplies bespoke dispute resolution solutions, tailored to meet the needs of the City of London. Martin helped the CDP’s creator, Richard Freeman, on the development and provision of a range of flexible ADR services. He worked on numerous mediations and conciliations, and worked with many inspirational mediators, including Lords Templeman and Griffiths.
Martin has a Masters degree in Advanced Litigation, his thesis being a study of mediation.
He is a qualified mediator, having completed his training through ClerksRoom, under the leadership of Jonathan Dingle, in March 2007.
He is on the panel of mediators at Accord Mediation.
He has conducted and attended numerous mediations both as a mediator and as a practitioner.
