Solicitor
Slade recently joined our busy employment law department to assist with all aspects of employment work in our newly opened Exeter office. Slade trained with Pictons Solicitors a leading firm in the South East region but relocated five years ago to the South West due to family ties in the region.
During his time in the South West Slade has advised businesses of all sizes from new enterprises to leading national companies. He has also represented individuals within various industries including professional sports and television. Slade is not afraid to take on difficult cases and has achieved a high level of success for his clients throughout his career to date. Slade deals with all aspects of employment law and regularly deals with employment disputes including unfair and constructive dismissal, age, disability, sex and religious discrimination. He also advises businesses and individuals with regard to TUPE issues and he drafts contracts, policy documents and compromise agreements. Slade is also available to assist with in-house training and workshops assisting human resource officers, managers and directors.
Slade is very much a family man and when he is not working he enjoys spending his time with his kids usually walking or mountain biking on Dartmoor or sea kayaking around East and South Devon’s shores or playing sports. Slade enjoys playing five a side football and is a long suffering Spurs fan currently enjoying a rare unbeaten start to the season and top spot in the Premiere league. Slade also enjoys regularly watching his local teams Exeter, Torquay and Plymouth.
