Solicitor
Rebecca is a solicitor in our Dispute Resolution Team. She specialises in personal injury cases and is an active member of APIL – Association of Personal Injury Lawyers. She also deals with residential landlord and tenant cases, contested probate matters including claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act, professional negligence claims and general commercial litigation. She’s approachable and down to earth, unless you happen to be the opposition!
Rebecca completed her law degree at Exeter University and after a stint in litigation at Bond Pearce’s Exeter office, headed back to Cornwall to practice law on her home turf. Rebecca qualified as a solicitor in March 2008. However, she has nearly 5 years’ experience of working as a fee earner under her belt, having taken the longer (but cheaper!) route into practice by undertaking her post-graduate Legal Practice Course concurrently with working full time. After a long slog of working and studying at the same time, Rebecca is pleased to be able to concentrate her entire efforts on achieving results for her clients.
In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys chilling out with her husband and little boy, as well as running near her family home, down on the farm!
Client Comments:
"I wanted to take this opportunity to feedback to you both about Rebecca's handling of this case. From the very beginning of this case until today, the quality and timing of her advice and practical support and her management of me has been nothing short of excellent. This is from someone who rarely uses the 'e' word. If you have such thing as employee of the year award, Rebecca gets my vote"
