Laurence is a property litigation lawyer. He joined the firm from Clarke Willmott in Bristol where he spent two years with their property litigation team. Prior to that, Laurence spent three years at Eversheds in their London office and two years with niche property firm Julian Holy.
Laurence’s experience covers all aspects of property litigation but with emphasis on:
- Commercial landlord and tenant disputes including: opposed and unopposed lease renewals, forfeiture claims, service of break notices, tenant insolvency, unlawful alienation, rent reviews, service charge disputes and dilapidations;
- Easements, rights of way and restrictive covenants;
- Adverse possession; and
- Residential possession claims.
Laurence went to school in Cornwall and is very pleased to have been able to return and practice in Truro.
Outside of work, Laurence can be found windsurfing on the beaches of Gwithian and Marazion and surfing where the waves are good. When not on the beach, Laurence has been known to hit a golf ball or two!
