Donna obtained a HND in Business and Law, a BA (Hons) in Business and Law and completed her LPC before joining the firm to take up a training contract in September 2007.  During her training with the firm, Donna undertook a variety of seats and qualified into the Employment Department in March 2009 where she has practiced ever since. 

How did she get there…

Prior to embarking on her legal career, Donna worked in a variety of roles including as a Project Co-ordinator and Project Manager working effectively as a liaison officer between Southampton GeneralHospital and Southampton University School of Medicine.  Her final role before heading back into law was working for the, at the time, fledgling Peninsula Medical School as a Locality Project Manager assisting with the integration of the Medical School teaching and students into the Royal Devon and Exeter Foundation Trust.

Following the LPC but before taking up a training contract with Follett Stock, Donna accepted a position at Lyons Davidson in Bristol where she spent 18 months dealing initially with motor claims, then with complaints and compliance issues and finally, in the Intensive Care Unit dealing with clients who had sustained traumatic Brain and/or Spinal injuries.

And finally….

Although Donna may be small and friendly, don’t be fooled.  Donna has a great deal of experience in gently persuading her opponent to come around to her way of thinking whilst letting them believe it was their idea all along!  Her gentle but persuasive manner often leaves her opponent frustrated as they can’t believe they got drawn in!  Again!
