Previously a client of Follett Stock's employment team having worked as the HR Manager for two well known local firms for a number of years, Claire is in her final year of her part time Chartered Institute of Professional Development Degree (CIPD) which will gain her a Masters Degree in Personnel and Development.

Claire joins the Employment team as a paralegal with a dual role: to provide practical HR advice and assistance to our current clients as an extra service to the legal advice that we provide and to promote our employment insurance scheme which offers protection for employers from legal claims by employees.

A number of clients have benefited from Claire being contracted out to them where she can offer her HR experience on an in house consultant basis and has recently undertaken a UK HR Manager role on an interim basis for a number of months. Claire is increasing providing HR support to clients who are finding that keeping up with people management can provide quite challenging when they are so busy driving the business forward. Claire enjoys her role and all aspects of the HR from providing assurance on employment contracts, policies and procedure to more complicated issues such as consulting on TUPE transfers and redundancy exercises. Working within the Employment team, her role has developed into a complementary asset to the Firm.

When Claire is not studying she enjoys a long walks and spending time with her family and friends.
