The residential landlord and tenant team consists of Chris Lingard, Sarah Dell and Laurence Gray.



The team provides advice on matters including:



The requirement for a landlord to comply with the Tenant Deposit Scheme;
  • Possession of premises either following the end of the contractual term or for tenant default;
  • Recovery of rent arrears;
  • Rent Act 1977 tenancies;
  • Possession from squatters;
  • Service charge demands;
  • Lease extensions and tenant’s right to buy the freehold ; and
  • Tenant’s right of first refusal on disposal of landlord’s interest.
