A Successful Summer Season for the Follett Stock Partners' Breakfasts

The July Partners’ Breakfast was the last in a series of very successful Partners' Breakfasts held over spring and summer, hosted by Chris Lingard and Martin Pearse (the Partners of Follett Stock).  The breakfasts will be taking a short summer break and will be returning in autumn!

We have been extremely fortunate to have had a fantastic selection of speakers over the months including the Chief Economist from Clydesdale Bank, the Chief Executive of the Devon and Cornwall Business Council, Shelterbox founder Tom Henderson OBE and the Director of South West Tourism, to name but a few!

The guest speaker at the July Partners’ Breakfast was Mike Carr, joint MD of Pendennis Shipyard Ltd.  Mike talked about the issues and benefits involved with running a successful global business from Cornwall. 

We have been incredibly lucky to have had BBC Radio Cornwall’s Laurence Reed leading the discussions at each breakfast which always makes for a lively and informative debate!

We must also say a huge "thank you" the Norway Inn at Perranarworthal for putting on their delicious full English breakfasts for us each time.
