Make a Will Week

In addition to the Cancer Research campaign Follett Stock have also teamed up with Cornwall Hospice Care for the charity’s annual “Make a Will Week” which will run from the 12th-16th May 2008.

Cornwall Hospice Care is an Independent Cornish Charity, uniquely placed in the community and committed to the delivery of excellence in Specialist Palliative Care.  Services are free of charge to the patient. However, the charity status means that they rely heavily on financial and voluntary support from the general public by way of charitable donations, legacies and fundraising events.

The aim of this week is to encourage more people to have their wills written or updated.  This campaign differs slightly from the Cancer Research Campaign and works on the basis that Follett Stock will waive our normal fee for basic will writing or updating during the Make A Will Week in return for clients making a donation to Cornwall Hospice Care.  Every penny gifted to Cornwall Hospice Care is spent in Cornwall, rather than in other parts of the country, so they are a truly local charity.
