We are delighted to be celebrating once again after securing both Investors in People and Lexcel compliance with “flying colours” for the fourth consecutive year.
Now employing a team of 54 at our office in Truro, we have successfully maintained our standards through continuing to “champion the principles of Investors in People”. We are now confident of having the strongest team ever having taken on a number of impressive and high profile appointments over recent months adding to the team’s genuine city expertise. We are visibly committed to heavily investing into developing our people to deliver the open and professional style of service that we offer to our clients.
The IiP report praised Follett Stock stating that “The firm’s commitment to excellence is also apparent from it’s dedication to maintain high standards of client care”. The report also revealed that “Everyone interviewed said what a great place it is to work. They applauded the firm’s commitment to training and development, the caring attitude of management, the encouragement and support given at work, the team spirit and the manner in which achievements are recognised. Communications are good and there is an evident drive for performance and achievement”.
In addition to this we also celebrate maintaining the Lexcel accreditation for a further year. Lexcel is the Law Society’s quality mark for law practices, in-house legal departments and local authority law offices. Like Investors in People, Lexcel is independently assessed and is awarded to organisations that have met stringent standards set by the Law Society in areas such as case management, services and forward planning, office administration and financial management. Lexcel combines the concepts of ISO 9000 and Investors in People into a single quality control system that is specifically designed for use by legal teams.
The auditor for Lexcel confirmed that the firm is in great shape and had some excellent feedback stating that “The organisation is very good at what it does. The firm sets very high standards and wants to achieve at 100% day after day. Lexcel is not just a badge for Follett Stock – it is part of a commitment to do things in the best professional manner”.
Chief Executive, Nigel Fox, said ““We are delighted to have been successfully assessed against both the Investors in People and Lexcel standards again. Maintaining these accreditations demonstrates that this is a quality firm, with quality people doing a quality job. Training is extremely important to us. Within our kind of service, people are our greatest asset. When we invest in their training, we invest in our own future as a business. Investors in People has helped us manage the process of training and to evaluate its considerable benefits. Furthermore, only 6% of UK law firms have achieved Lexcel, and our auditor remarked that very few firms have achieved the new IIP standard first time around”.
