The Follett Stock annual Christmas party and awards ceremony has become renowned for being a great event with the venue, entertainment and all sorts of surprises being kept top secret until the day of the party!
Previous Follett Stock Christmas parties have included an X-Factor themed party, a glamorous Oscar’s night, masked ball, and a winter wonderland party to name but a few!
The 2011 Christmas party saw the FS party planners transform the party venue into a 1950’s high school prom. High school principals Lingard and Pearse hosted the prom, complete with juke boxes, pin ball machines and, of course, no 1950's prom would be complete without a pink Cadillac!
The ‘FS High’ prom opened with a film featuring Follett Stock Associate Partners vying for colleagues to vote for them for the highly sought after title of ‘prom king’ or ‘prom queen’. Colleagues voted for their king and queen of choice with Sarah Dell and Dan Stevens being crowned 'prom king and queen'.
Comedian Johnny Cowling entertained the class of ‘FS High’ with a hilarious stand-up routine, including a ‘Grease’ medley featuring Follett Stock’s very own group of ‘T-Birds’ and ‘Pink Ladies’. A rock n roll disco followed, courtesy of Shane Solomon of the Cornwall Channel.
The highlight of the day was the annual Follett Stock awards ceremony. This is always looked forward to by colleagues. In addition to the prestige of the award, there are fantastic prizes up for grabs, such as luxury hotel breaks.
